Hello!  My name is Kristin Strickler and I am excited about teaching Math!  I have many years of experience as a homeschool mom, a public school teacher, and a private tutor.  I taught high school math in the public schools for 7 years.  At that time, I left teaching to stay home with my growing family.  During my children's elementary years, I homeschooled them through Heart Christian Academy.  What an amazing adventure homeschooling was!  When my daughters left for college I started teaching again.  I absolutely love to make the math classroom come alive through hands-on activities, games, crafts, and a Pi Day celebration!  Along with teaching, I also tutor students virtually from my home.  I have a heart for students who struggle and need personal attention to grasp and master difficult math topics.  

I earned my high school math teaching credential from Azusa Pacific University during my years in public high school.
